Ibanez and Paul Stanley Reunite

Ibanez and Paul Stanley Reunite Bensalem, PA – In 1976, Ibanez approached KISS frontman, Paul Stanley, to collaborate on a signature guitar that would become the instrument with which he would be forever associated. Now, for the first time since 1996, Paul and Ibanez have reunited to re-issue three exciting new versions of the original Paul Stanley Signature Model. “Renewing my collaboration with Ibanez feels like going home to where it all started,” commented Stanley. “The guitars we created remain iconic and we will celebrate them and more as we move forward into our future together.”  “We’re very excited to be partnering again with Paul Stanley,” said Ibanez Artist Relations Manager, Mike Taft.  “It’s been an amazing year for both Paul and the band, including the release of his best-selling autobiography, the band’s long overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the ongoing world tour to commemorate their 40th Anniversary together. I couldn’t think of a better time for Paul to reunite with Ibanez. Along with their distinctive styling, these historic instruments have proven themselves on albums and in concert worldwide, where their sound has made them sought after by guitarists for...

PROMARK

The ProMark company was founded in 1957 by Herb Brochstein, a professional drummer and drum shop owner. ProMark has always been a family business and so continues with the 2011 purchase by D’Addario & Company from Herb’s son Maury. The offices and factory remain in Houston, Texas; manufacturing hickory, maple and Japanese Shira Kashi™ Oak (ProMark was the first American drumstick company to successfully market sustainable Japanese Oak) drumsticks in its modern 90,000 square foot facility. ProMark uses only un-endangered wood in the manufacturing of its sticks and mallets. The harvesting of our hardwoods is carefully controlled, with replenishment of the forest as one of our top concerns.  Prior to becoming drumsticks, the wood goes through a multitude of selection and pre-finishing processes at our own mill in the mid-south, followed by rigorous inspections throughout the manufacturing process. The Houston manufacturing team works with the state-of-the-art machinery to produce the drumsticks, keyboard and timpani mallets that are designed tested and used by top performers, educators, students and enthusiasts throughout the world. ProMark has been the sticks of choice by such renowned artists as Neil Peart, the late Elvin Jones, Ringo Starr, Phil Collins, Mike Portnoy, Dave Lombardo, Jason Bonham, Benny Greb, Simon Philips, Ray Luzier, Joey Jordison, 9-time DCI champion Concord Blue Devils, and many, many...

Tama Star Hardware

In 1976, TAMA was the first company to introduce an innovative new nylon bushing system for its hardware. It has immediately become the standard of drum hardware from all the brands in the industry. Omni-ball tom holder is also invented by TAMA for the seamless adjustment of set up without losing tone of drums. Again, many of the brands followed this system. TAMA STAR HARDWARE series are CHALLENGING those completed and convenient features which we take them for granted now. Hughes & Kettner

HISTORY TECHNOLOGY OF TONE … is what we’ve been about from day one. And since that day, we’ve been living up to our performance promise of making great tone accessible to discerning players. Designed with sophisticated simplicity in mind, our tone-sculpting tools are conduits for inspiration. Plug in, put on unforgettable performances, and relish those magic moments in a guitarist’s life. But great tone is not alchemy or weird science. It’s a capability built on passion and know-how. Even after all the years marked by so many milestone achievements, that passion burns as brightly as ever. ABOUT HUGHES & KETTNER SMART AND FROM THE HEART! Over the course of the past thirty years, the name Hughes & Kettner has become synonymous worldwide with guitar amps of the highest quality. Engineered in Germany, these amps are the product of a lifelong passion and pursuit of a vision – to make great tone accessible for the discerning player. OUR STORY Company founders (and brothers) Hans and Lothar Stamer began producing their own guitar amps in 1985. While the production space may have been small, their aspirations were not. Soon, the reputation of their products for craftsmanship and performance spread, prompting them to expand operations time and time again. MR. HUGHES & HERR KETTNER When Mr. Hughes, the synonym for the discerning guitar player, and Herr Kettner, the ahead-thinking German engineer, first met, Mr. Hughes was on a tone quest, looking to enrich players’ sonic palette with more soulful means of expression. A glockenspiel’s chime, the snap and snarl of a junkyard dog, the seductive wail of Siren’s song, the thunderous rush of a passing freight train, the howling of a keening jackal, the malevolent grind of a chainsaw biting into metal – could an amp really be made to do all this? Engineering whiz Herr Kettner had his eyes on a very different prize. Envisaging a compact amp that would deliver fully-formed sounds including effects at the touch of a button, he sought to do what has never been done before. And he wasn’t averse to doing better what has already been done. So began an impassioned collaboration that continues to this day. OUR PHILOSOPHY – TECHNOLOGY OF TONE From the very start, our focus has been the needs of our users, who challenged us not to be satisfied with standard solutions. Our mission is to deliver the entire package—high-quality tone and hassle-free setup, all tailored not just to satisfy but to exceed the demands of the modern guitar player. Technology of Tone is what we’ve been about from day one. SMART AND FROM THE HEART! We live in a world of sensory perception—touch, taste, sight, and especially great tone! Hearing is like no other sense. Auditory perceptions are interpreted as information, but they also have a direct...

Simon Phillips
