The MEINL Cymbal Series

The MEINL Cymbal Series

Hand hammered cymbals created for today’s music. And ultra-modern designs that give drummers more sounds to choose from. Between our traditional foundry in Turkey and our state-of-the-art facility in Germany, we do it all. Cymbals, sounds and beyond. Six Degrees of Darkness The warm darkness of traditional hand hammered cymbals is re-imagined with Byzance. Each range is hand crafted by MEINL artisans at our foundry in Turkey, then given sound-enhancing final touches by our craftsmen in Germany. Six different ranges offer a choice of feels and sounds for virtually every style of music. Best of all, with Byzance your sound is all yours, because every Byzance cymbal is a one-of-a-kind. Modern While traditional cymbal making covers the warmer, darker end of the sound spectrum, it takes modern cymbal making technology to create brighter, glassier sounds. With M-Series and Soundcaster those qualities come to life through unique sounds and stunning looks. Aggressive Three different cymbals, created from three different metals, producing three different sounds, have one thing in common: Their bright responses are aggressive! Mb20 is powered by thick bronze for maximum projection. Mb10 delivers a more focused degree of cut. Mb8 slices through with a direct response. This trio delivers three levels of aggression designed to cut through the loudest music Clarity and Cut Loud. Louder. Loudest. From the loud Classics, to the louder Classics Custom to the loudest, Classics Custom Extreme Metal, this trio of innovative cymbals is all about high-energy response. These cymbals add pure punch wherever clarity and cut are a must. Ideal for pop, rock, and the most brutal metal imaginable, all three will get you heard. Innovation When you want something totally different – something wilder than normal – step into Generation X. There are no rules. Innovation is the reason these cymbals exist. This diverse collection of designs looks and sounds creative, even crazy, but it makes perfect sense if what you want are unique sounds to create your own sonic signature. First Step If you’re choosing your first set of real cymbals, HCS and MCS offer looks and sounds that are much more serious than their price tags suggest. Designed by the MEINL R&D team and crafted using our advanced technology, these two nicely priced series let you make your first set-up one that you can be proud of. After all, every drummer wants cymbals they feel good about, right? Take your pick – HCS in brass or MCS in bronze. The Sounds Darker sounds blend with the music, brighter ones cut through. Many players mix them together. The Bronzes Only MEINL offers four bronzes. High numbers deliver more tone; lower ones sound brighter and tonally tighter. More Info...

Ibanez and Paul Stanley Reunite

Ibanez and Paul Stanley Reunite Bensalem, PA – In 1976, Ibanez approached KISS frontman, Paul Stanley, to collaborate on a signature guitar that would become the instrument with which he would be forever associated. Now, for the first time since 1996, Paul and Ibanez have reunited to re-issue three exciting new versions of the original Paul Stanley Signature Model. “Renewing my collaboration with Ibanez feels like going home to where it all started,” commented Stanley. “The guitars we created remain iconic and we will celebrate them and more as we move forward into our future together.”  “We’re very excited to be partnering again with Paul Stanley,” said Ibanez Artist Relations Manager, Mike Taft.  “It’s been an amazing year for both Paul and the band, including the release of his best-selling autobiography, the band’s long overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the ongoing world tour to commemorate their 40th Anniversary together. I couldn’t think of a better time for Paul to reunite with Ibanez. Along with their distinctive styling, these historic instruments have proven themselves on albums and in concert worldwide, where their sound has made them sought after by guitarists for...

Omni-ball tom holder is also invented by TAMA for the seamless adjustment of set up without losing tone of drums. Again, many of the brands followed this system. TAMA STAR HARDWARE series are CHALLENGING those completed and convenient features which we take them for granted now. Hughes & Kettner

HISTORY TECHNOLOGY OF TONE … is what we’ve been about from day one. And since that day, we’ve been living up to our performance promise of making great tone accessible to discerning players. Designed with sophisticated simplicity in mind, our tone-sculpting tools are conduits for inspiration. Plug in, put on unforgettable performances, and relish those magic moments in a guitarist’s life. But great tone is not alchemy or weird science. It’s a capability built on passion and know-how. Even after all the years marked by so many milestone achievements, that passion burns as brightly as ever. ABOUT HUGHES & KETTNER SMART AND FROM THE HEART! Over the course of the past thirty years, the name Hughes & Kettner has become synonymous worldwide with guitar amps of the highest quality. Engineered in Germany, these amps are the product of a lifelong passion and pursuit of a vision – to make great tone accessible for the discerning player. OUR STORY Company founders (and brothers) Hans and Lothar Stamer began producing their own guitar amps in 1985. While the production space may have been small, their aspirations were not. Soon, the reputation of their products for craftsmanship and performance spread, prompting them to expand operations time and time again. MR. HUGHES & HERR KETTNER When Mr. Hughes, the synonym for the discerning guitar player, and Herr Kettner, the ahead-thinking German engineer, first met, Mr. Hughes was on a tone quest, looking to enrich players’ sonic palette with more soulful means of expression. A glockenspiel’s chime, the snap and snarl of a junkyard dog, the seductive wail of Siren’s song, the thunderous rush of a passing freight train, the howling of a keening jackal, the malevolent grind of a chainsaw biting into metal – could an amp really be made to do all this? Engineering whiz Herr Kettner had his eyes on a very different prize. Envisaging a compact amp that would deliver fully-formed sounds including effects at the touch of a button, he sought to do what has never been done before. And he wasn’t averse to doing better what has already been done. So began an impassioned collaboration that continues to this day. OUR PHILOSOPHY – TECHNOLOGY OF TONE From the very start, our focus has been the needs of our users, who challenged us not to be satisfied with standard solutions. Our mission is to deliver the entire package—high-quality tone and hassle-free setup, all tailored not just to satisfy but to exceed the demands of the modern guitar player. Technology of Tone is what we’ve been about from day one. SMART AND FROM THE HEART! We live in a world of sensory perception—touch, taste, sight, and especially great tone! Hearing is like no other sense. Auditory perceptions are interpreted as information, but they also have a direct...

Simon Phillips
